Dr Joanne Malek graduated from the University of Newcastle and completed her internship and residency at Westmead Hospital. She then trained for 8 years as an ear, nose and throat surgeon but left in order to focus more time on her family. She enjoys the relationship she can build with her patients in family medicine.
Outside of work, you can find Joanne reading with her son, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Ealrwood - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Billing Arrangement (Earlwood): All new patients and those who have not been seen for over 12mths (i.e., not regular patients) for the practice will be privately charged with a Medicare rebate, except those 15 years old & under or concession card/DVA holders.
Billing Arrangement (Bangor): Dr Joanne Malek bulk bills for routine consultations for those with a valid Medicare card. All other practice private fees applicable.
