Search “AMS Connect” in the App Store or Google Play. Create your account, then add your centre under My Clinics: Earlwood Medical Centre, Bangor Medical Centre or Sans Souci Doctors.

The AMS Connect app and self check-in.
SMSG uses AutoMed for appointments. The free AMS Connect app keeps your bookings in one place: book, change or cancel appointments, receive notices from the practice, and check in on your phone when you arrive. Self check-in is only available in the app.
In the app
What you can do in the app.
- Book with the practitioner you usually see, or the first available appointment.
- Change or cancel a booking before the cancellation cut-off.
- Manage bookings for family members and other dependants.
- Request repeat scripts and referrals.
- Receive notices from the practice, such as changes to opening hours or new services.
- Check in when you arrive.
On the day
Checking in when you arrive.
- When you arrive at the centre, open AMS Connect. Your appointment shows on the home screen.
- Tap Check-in. The button appears about 30 minutes before your appointment time.
- The button turns green and reads Checked in. Take a seat and you will be called in.
Please see reception instead of checking in on the app if you:
- are unsure about fee arrangements
- are having a procedure today
- are a new patient to the practice
Reception will check you in and go through anything needed before your appointment.
