My books have been full from day one. The supervisors are knowledgeable and approachable, there's real flexibility in the workload, and the nursing staff are incredible to work with. Great access to allied health and specialists on site.

The nursing team at Bangor provides excellent support across triage, vaccinations, wound care, procedures and baby checks — real opportunities to build procedural skill. The chance to engage with specialists and GPs across the whole network adds tremendous value.

Genuinely welcomed and supported from day one — a kind, collaborative team passionate about teaching. The variety of clinical presentations and the chance to learn alongside specialists made it a great place to grow in confidence and skills.

Practice management and staff are approachable, organised and genuinely invested in registrars' wellbeing and learning. My supervisor Dr Nordkamp is excellent — highly knowledgeable and always readily available for advice.

Prof Lim is an exceptional mentor — consistently approachable, dedicated to teaching, and always willing to discuss clinical cases with clarity and insight. Dr Geng and Dr Hanna have been generous with their knowledge, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Busy caseload, plenty of variety. The best part is the friendly and collaborative practice culture. GPs and visiting specialists are all very available to talk to, there's always someone in the tearoom at lunch.

Extremely supportive at every stage of training — from receptionists and RNs to admin and other GPs. The MDT dynamic, with specialists affiliated with the clinic, gives you an easy route for pressing clinical questions.

Saturday shifts on my Extension Awaiting Fellowship term at Earlwood — professional, supportive, well-run, with a great collegiate atmosphere. Consistently excellent support from my supervisors across both Earlwood and Bangor. I'd recommend working within this group.

A collegial atmosphere with dedicated nurses, approachable supervisors, and wide-ranging skill development — simple skin procedures, iron infusions, and everything in between. Teaching was of very high quality across a broad range of topics.

A diverse range of presentations and age groups that has genuinely enhanced my learning. Dr Hanna and Dr Geng are amazing supervisors — a wealth of experience and always willing to help with questions, advice, mentorship and support.

The supervisors, Dr Geng and Dr Hanna, were both incredibly helpful and friendly. The practice was well organised, I felt supported with whatever I needed, and the overall practice culture is very healthy and collaborative. Would definitely recommend.

Both are busy clinics with a very diverse range of clinical presentations and patient groups. As a GPT1 I found the protected one-on-one teaching time particularly helpful. Both clinics are well supported by nursing staff, and you work alongside specialist physicians and allied health who are friendly and happy to assist.

The patient base is varied and friendly, and I was usually fully booked. Dr Mina is a supportive and knowledgeable supervisor, and is easily accessible when needed. There is a well-resourced treatment room, and a practice nurse every day.

An excellent practice for a registrar of any stage. It is very busy, with patients of all ages and presentations and the opportunity for procedures like skin excisions and Implanon. There are always multiple GPs on site, the treatment room is well equipped, and there is radiology on site.

Patients are lovely, reception staff are very organised and responsive, and managers look out for you to make sure patient load is manageable. My supervisors Dr Mina and Dr Tao have been fantastic: great clinicians to learn from, and interested in my progress as a registrar.

SMSG has a very supportive and nurturing culture for registrars. All the supervisors are incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and very inspiring. The teaching sessions are invaluable in the preparation towards AKT/KFP.

A wide range of chronic health issues among regular patients as well as walk-ins with more acute problems. I felt very supported by my supervisor Dr Mina, who is so welcoming and approachable, and there's remote support from Prof Lim, who is extremely knowledgeable and happy to give advice at any time.

Both centres are very supportive and friendly practices where supervisor and non-supervisor GPs are happy to answer questions and teach. The management is very organised and acts promptly to resolve any issues that may arise. I highly recommend both centres for any stage of training.

I saw a wide variety of patients in terms of ages, acute vs chronic and area of presentation, and was always fully booked. There were a number of different registrars in the practice who supported each other, and supervisors had different areas of interest and styles to learn from.

I gained a vast amount of experience in all disciplines of general practice, with a high proportion of chronic disease management and paediatric care. Between the broad clinical exposure and structured weekly registrar teaching, I was able to build my confidence approaching the AKT/KFP assessments.

They were very accommodating around my maternity leave and understanding of my commitments with my children. The supervisors are amazing: very patient, knowledgeable and incredibly approachable. A wide range of presentations, from young families to the elderly with chronic illness, was useful in the lead-up to the AKT/KFP exams.

An excellent practice to work at due to the varied patient base, flexibility with leave and work hours, and the level of support for registrars. There was always a supervisor available on the phone or in person, weekly teaching sessions for all registrars, and ample opportunity to do procedures.

A very well managed practice where registrars are well supported and encouraged to ask questions. There is a nurse on at all times, and reception and managers are friendly and helpful. They offer a lot of flexibility with work and leave arrangements and are helpful with exam prep as well.

The practice has a welcoming, family-like culture, and the staff, nurses and doctors are approachable and always happy to help. The supervision and mentorship is excellent, headed by Professor Danforn Lim, and there is direct access to specialists and allied health across SMSG.
