About Dr Hanna

Meet Dr Hanna.

Dr Mina Hanna is an independent Consultant Specialist GP (ABN: 98 294 983 063) (MED0001602932) consulting at the Bangor centre.

Dr Mina Hanna graduated from the University of New South Wales with an honours degree. After completing his internship and residency in Bankstown and Campbelltown Hospitals, he underwent specialist physician training in internal medicine at Concord and Nepean Hospitals before entering into family medicine.

Dr Mina enjoys teaching medical students and junior doctors. He has held various academic appointments and has received awards, including Registrar Teacher of the Year. In addition to English, Dr Mina also speaks Arabic. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and is keenly involved in various Church services and exploring theology and philosophy.

Dr Mina can speak fluent Arabic in addition to English.

Fees and billing

Bulk-billing
Routine in-person consultations are bulk-billed or offered at a discounted private rate for existing regular patients (seen within the last 12 months), and bulk-billed for children aged 15 and under and DVA card holders.

Private billing
All new patients and any patient not seen in the last 12 months (including concession card holders new to Dr Hanna) are privately billed for routine in-person consultations, with the Medicare rebate applying to eligible services.

Telehealth
All telehealth consultations are bulk-billed.

Procedures and longer consults
Non-standard consultations and procedures are privately billed. Reception confirms the specific fee and expected out-of-pocket when you book.
